Tilaknagar to double liquor capacity to 6mn cases in 8 months

Liquor manufacturer Tilaknagar Industries plans to more than double its capacity here to 6 million cases in the next 6-8 months to cater to the domestic demand and exports, a senior company official said.
Currently the facility, spread across 252 acres, has two units and produces 2.4 million cases annually.
"We can expand the capacity to 6 million cases. The work of ramping up the capacity is in progress and we expect in the next 6-8 months it will be completed," company's Vice President (works) Naresh Agnihotri said.
This unit caters to markets like Maharashtra, Puducherry, Goa, Daman, Odisha and also exports.

"We plan to enter newer markets for exports. The domestic demand in the southern India is quite significant. This factory will help us meet the demand," he said.
Apart from its private labels, the company also manufacturers brands like Blenders Pride and Royal Stag for Pernod Ricard in this factory.
