Tim Gunn slams Kardashians' fashion sense

American fashion consultant criticised the popular celebrity family Kardashians for its style sense, saying, he tells people not to dress the way they do.
Gunn, who is well known as on-air mentor to designers on the reality TV program "Project Runway", branded Kim Kardashian's rapper husband Kanye West's fashion line "bunch of dumb clothes," reported People magazine.
"I think they're a bunch of dumb clothes. Just basic pieces," he said.
"When it comes to fashion I say to people all the time, if you want guidance for your fashion just consider this, if a Kardashian is wearing it - don't. I think it's vulgar and I just think given the amount of public exposure that the Kardashians have, to potentially be sending a message to people that 'you too can dress like this' - no," Gunn said.

When asked if he thinks Kim's younger step-sister Kendall Jenner has that model 'it' factor, Gunn said, "I shouldn't say that she doesn't, I don't know her, she may be a perfectly lovely young woman, I just feel that she's tainted by the Kardashian aura of 'yuck'."
Gunn is not too worried about his harsh remarks, "The whole Kardashian clan doesn't like me, so no surprise there.
