Tin prices surged by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,435 from Tuesday's close Rs 1,430 and nickel gained by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 810 as compared Rs 805 yesterday.
Copper utensils and copper sheet cuttings edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 330 and Rs 348 from yesterday's close Rs 328 and Rs 346.
However, copper cable scrap and copper wire bar softened by a Re per kg to Rs 365 and Rs 393.
