Tin prices strengthen on rising demand

Tin prices strengthened further at the non-ferrous metals market here today on stockists buying amid rising demand from alloy industries.
While, copper and brass prices declined further due to reduced offtake from industrials users.
Tin rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,320 from Thursday's level of Rs 1,315.
However, Copper cable scrap, Copper armature, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar, copper sheet cutting and brass sheet cutting eased by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 368, Rs 358, Rs 335, Rs 396, Rs 353 and Rs 270 as against Rs 370, Rs 360, Rs 337, Rs 398, Rs 355 and Rs 272.
Copper scrap heavy and brass utensils scrap edged down by a Re per kg each to Rs 364 and and Rs 264, respectively.
