Meanwhile, copper prices dropped further owing to reduced demand from stockists and industrial users.
Tin prices rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,150 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,145 and zinc inched up to Rs 138 per kg.
However, copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper utensils and copper wire bar fell by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 378, Rs 372, Rs 365 and Rs 346 and Rs 406 as against to Rs 381, Rs 375, Rs 368, Rs 349 and Rs 409 yesterday, respectively.
