TMC party without direction: CPI-M

Opposition CPI-M today hit out at ruling Trinamool Congress saying it was a party without direction and ideology and was a conglomeration of former members or supporters of all sorts of parties.
"It is her party which is a conglomeration of people from all parties, whether of left or right leanings," CPI(M) state secretary Surjyakanta Mishra said reacting to TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee's challenge to all opposition parties to come together and take on her party politically.
"Trinamool Congress is supporting the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre in getting anti-people bills passed," Mishra said at a press conference.
"Instead of protesting, she is giving unconditional support," the CPI(M) leader said and claimed that TMC and BJP had reached an understanding to assist each other.

He alleged that lawlessness was prevailing in the state and women's security was at stake.
"The chief minister's claims of lakhs of job creation and development in the state are baseless. She must clarify what she is claiming," he said reacting to her speech at the annual Martyr's Day rally at Esplanade here during the day.
