The Trinamool Congress today said that it fully supported the Lokpal Bill, but demanded full freedom for state governments to set up Lokayuktas.

"Trinamool Congress fully supports the Lokpal Bill ... For Lokayuktas, the state governments must have the full freedom to set up and run them," TMC Rajya Sabha MP Derek O'Brien told PTI here.Earlier in the day, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath said the Lokpal Bill would come up in Rajya Sabha tomorrow.

The TMC leadership had earlier said that the Lokayukta was a state subject and they should be free to decide on it. The TMC has 9 RS members and 19 LS members.
