Few days after taking over as the president of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC), EVKS Elangovan today met DMK chief M Karunanidhi at his Gopalapuram residence here.
Talking to the reporters, Elangovan said that the meeting was primarily to seek the DMK patriarch's wishes since he was beyond politics in Tamil Nadu.
To a query on whether there were any talks on possible alliance, he said it would be discussed by senior leaders Sonia Gandhi and Karunanidhi.
Elangovan was made the chief of TNCC after BS Gnanadesikan resigned the post and joined GK Vasan, who is set to start his own party soon.
