Tom Cruise is circling Disney's long-delayed movie "Bob: The Musical".
While the "Mission: Impossible" star is pursued for the lead role, "The Artist" director Michel Hazanavicius is courted to helm the feature film, reported Ace Showbiz.
The upcoming movie follows a story of a regular guy who can suddenly hear the songs in everyone's heart after getting hit on the head.
The script is written by Allan Loeb who wrote 2012 musical "Rock of Ages", also starring Cruise.
Cruise was last seen in "Edge of Tomorrow" and will next reprise his iconic role as Ethan Hunt in "Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation".
He will also star in "Mena", a thriller that reunites him with "Edge of Tomorrow" helmer Doug Liman.
