"We demand resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's for defending his law minister JS Tomar facing charges of fraud and cheating. Now again he (Kejriwal) is trying to befool people with talks of expelling him from AAP.
"He should make Tomar resign from the Vidhansabha," said Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay.
He alleged that the Chief Minister who used words like morality, ethics, transparency and sensitivity in his election campaign today stands exposed.
"Today his silence is similar to what we saw during the days after the suspicious suicide of Farmer Gajendra," Upadhyay said.
"Hoardings were put up all over Delhi portraying that 35 officers have been arrested while 152 others have been suspended on corruption charges since AAP came to power. We challenge the government to give a list of those arrested along with their designation and date of suspension and make these details public," said Upadhyay.
"It is not just a matter of the CM defending the wrongdoings of his MLAs and leaders, the CM is now himself indulging in dirty politics based on false figures to project himself as an anti-corruption champion," he alleged.
Commenting over non-payment of salaries to municipal sanitation workers, Upadhyay blamed Chief Minister of allegedly not releasing the money.
"He (Kejriwal) is blaming the Centre and dragging the name of Prime Minister in this while it is him who had not released the money," Upadhyay alleged.
