Tony Hale to play villain in 'Alvin and the Chipmunks 4'

'Arrested Development' actor Tony Hale has been cast as the antagonist in the fourth instalment of the popular animated/live-action picture 'Alvin and the Chipmunks'.
Hale, 44, joins existing cast ensemble which includes Jason Lee, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Jesse McCartney among others, reported Variety.
Walt Becker is directing the film for 20th Century Fox, with Ross Bagdasarian and Janice Marmen producing, and Karen Rosenfeld executive producing.
The movie has been slated for a December 23 release.
