'Tough action against those involved in illegal land transfer'

The Telangana government today said it will take tough action against those involved in the alleged transfer of government land to private companies and causing loss to the state exchequer.
"Police inquiry is on. Whoever is there, big or small, action will be taken," Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Md Mahmood Ali said.
The Cyberabad police here have arrested a sub-registrar and two directors of different real estate firms for allegedly transferring government land to private companies and causing losses to the state exchequer.
