SJVNL posts 93% jump in net profit at Rs 281 cr in Q4

State-run SJVN Ltd today posted a 93 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 281.25 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2017.
The company's net profit was at Rs 145.53 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2016, SJVN Ltd said in a BSE filing today.
Total revenue of the company was at Rs 383.87 crore in the fourth quarter, up from Rs 382.28 crore.
The company's standalone net profit for 2016-17 was at Rs 1,544.14 crore, up from Rs 1,407.34 crore in 2015-16. Total revenue was up at Rs 2,468.66 crore in the last fiscal from Rs 2,493.96 crore a year ago.
Consolidated net profit was also up at Rs 1,543.76 crore for 2016-17, from Rs 1,407.07 crore.
The Board, at its meeting held today, has recommended a final dividend of 0.50 per share of 10 each for 2016-17.
