A bandh call given by various trade unions against certain provisions in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) evoked mixed response in Rajasthan today.
Most of the traders participated in the strike.
Trader association spokesperson Arun Agrawal said the traders were against the "excessive tax slabs" and "complex processes" under the GST regime.
He said the response to the strike was good, and that traders in Jaipur, Udaipur, Alwar, Sikar, Jodhpur, Kota and other districts participated in it.
