Train hits a car at unmanned level crossing, 5 killed

Five persons were killed when their car was hit by a speeding train at an unmanned rail crossing here this evening, police and railway officials said.
The accident took place at an unmanned crossing between Madhosingh and Ahimanpur railway stations when the ill-fated car was hit by the Allahabad-Howrah Vibhuti express train, Gyanpur station master Ashok Kumar Verma said.
According to Madhosingh GRP incharge Manoj Kumar, all the five people in the car were killed on the spot.
The identity of the victims was not immediately known, he added.
