'Transformers-Age of Extinction' earns Rs 30 crore in India

'Transformers-Age of Extinction', that hit theatres last Friday, has earned Rs 30 crore over its opening weekend in India.
Director Michael Bay's fourth edition of the Transformers series has the third biggest opening weekend for a Hollywood film in India, according to its distributors Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
The film starring Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci was released in four languages in India (English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu) and was allotted 1400 screens across 770 locations.
'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' had the biggest opening with earnings of Rs 41.7 crore, followed by 'The Amazing Spider-Man' with Rs 34 crore earnings.
