Tremor hits Kolkata & South 24 Parganas district

An earthquake of mild intensity measuring 3.6 on the Richter Scale shook the metropolis and neighbouring South 24 Parganas district in West Bengal.
The earthquake occurred at 6.59 pm, Meteorological department sources said.
