According to sources in the club, Dempo SC have already chosen Papas' successor.
They are expected to announce Morgan's name officially as the new head coach for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
The sources revealed that there was no cooperation between the coach and the his staff, and it reflected in the team's results in the ongoing I-League.
Dempo FC have come up with disappointing performances so far in the tournament and are lying at eighth position in the points table. Their humiliating 1-5 defeat to East Bengal in the last match forced Papas to quit the club.
