"Non-tribals produce ST certificates to get jobs and admissions in educational institutions, which needs to be addressed as early as possible," Secretary of Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation (TRCF) Javaid Rahi said.
The state government must re-verify all the ST certificates of employees recruited by the Jammu and Kashmir government since 1991 through its tribal department, he said.
The foundation demanded constitution of a 'scrutiny committee' to remove irregularities and sought investigation into racket of bogus ST certificate operating in the state.
