The Tripura Assembly Friday unanimously passed a resolution to request the Ministry of External Affairs to open an 'Indian visa office' either in Comilla or Brahmanbaria district of Bangladesh to attract more tourists from the neighbouring country.
At present, people of Comilla and Brahmanbaria get their Indian visa from the office of the Assistant High Commission of India in Chittagong which is far away from their district
