The Chief Minister reviewed the success and failure of the past five years with the ministers and senior officials of the administration here last night during which he asked them to make comprehensive planning for development which could be completed within three years, official sources said today.
The meeting discussed various aspects of solving the problems of livelihood and accepted proposals of improving healthcare, education, road connectivity and forest.
Earlier on March 7, Sarkar said the Left Front government was committed to implementing the poll pledges and would try to implement them before the period expires.
Among others, Chief Secretary S K Panda, Director General of Police (DGP), Sanjoy Kumar Panda, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and all the principal secretaries of the departments were present in the meeting, the sources said.
