"We have seen in local TV coverage the way the legislator of our party behaved. A legislator can visit police station for many reasons but the way Shankar Dutta behaved with the police officers is not desirable," CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar told reporters here.
CPI-M legislator Shankar Dutta visited East Agartala police station on Monday and took away two persons who were detained on criminal charges, police said. He also abused the officer-in-charge of the police station.
"Our party members and legislators should be careful while behaving with others. It should not be like that of leaders of other parties," Dhar said.
