The fair is being jointly organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Indo-Bangla Chamber of commerce in Dhaka and the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh's capital, the officials said.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the two-day event, which will be attended by Indian minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DONER), Paban Singh Ghatwar, Chief Ministers of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh and ministers from other north eastern states.
India's North-East and its products will be the main theme of the fair, officials added.
Tripura chief secretary S K Panda and some traders are also part of the team led by Chowdhury.
