Tripura govt for fast track courts, stricter laws

The proposal included setting up of fast track courts and stricter laws like denial of bail, reducing the age of juvenile to 15 years from 18 and life imprisonment till death, state Chief Secretary S K Panda said.

The council of ministers headed by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar decided to send these suggestions to the committee,Panda said.

The government also decided on the complete investigation of any crime against women within three months so that the cases were not delayed.
