Triveni Turbine posts Q3 net profit of Rs 19.38 cr

Steam turbines maker Triveni Turbine Ltd (TTL) has reported a 46 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 19.38 crore for the December 2017 quarter.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 35.82 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal, TTL said in a regulatory filing.
Net income from operations during the quarter stood at Rs 165 crore as against Rs 198 crore a year ago.
TTL Chairman and Managing Director Dhruv M Sawhney said: "The company has achieved growth in terms of order booking with a 9 per cent growth in 9 months FY 2018. The increased order booking has been primarily from the international market where the company has achieved a growth of over 33 per cent year on year.
