Truck falls into Bhagirathi river
A truck carrying stones fell into Bhagirathi river after breaking through the railings of a bridge at Madhughat area of Malda district today, police said.
The truck fell into the river after the driver lost control over the speeding vehicle, they said.
The driver of the truck and helper were injured in the mishap and have been admitted to Malda Medical College Hospital, they added.
