Truck hits youth in UP's Lakhimpur district

Two youths were today killed when a speeding truck hit their bike on Kheri-Bahraich highway near Chahmalpur village in Kheri Town area, police said.
The victims, identified as, Desh Raj and Ajay, both 25, were residents of Ramapur village and were on their way to Chahmalpur on their bike when a speeding truck coming from opposite direction hit them killing them on the spot, they said.
An FIR has been registered and police was trying to trace truck driver who fled from the scene after the incident.
