Truck mows down two in Shamli

Two people were killed when their bike was hit by a truck near Dhundhali village in neighbouring Shamli district last night, police said.
The deceased were identified as Ankush (26) and his cousin Aparna, 23.
The truck driver fled after the incident, police said.
