Trucks set ablaze during economic blockade

Two trucks were today set ablaze by unidentified persons during the indefinite economic blockade by the Garo National Council (GNC) in Assam's Goalpara district.
While one truck was set ablaze at Rocketkona area the other one on NH 51 at Kachomari, both under Krishnai police station.
Police have launched a massive search to arrest the persons involved in the incident.
The GNC, Assam unit, has called the indefinite economic blockade in areas bordering Meghalaya demanding that Garo villages be excluded from Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC).
