TTK Prestige Q1 net rises 6-fold to Rs 135.62 cr

Kitchen appliances firm TTK Prestige today reported an over six-fold jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 135.62 crore for the quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 21.75 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago, TTK Prestige said in a BSE filing.
Its total income stood at Rs 385.64 crore, up 1.27 per cent during the quarter under review, as against Rs 380.80 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
"During the quarter there was a net exceptional income of Rs 128.96 crore on accounts of dealing with property development rights," the company said.
Its overall expenses during the quarter were at Rs 343.91 crore, up 1.17 per cent, compared to Rs 339.93 crore in the same quarter last year.
Shares of TTK Prestige today settled at Rs 563.50 on BSE, down 2.36 per cent from the previous close.
