TVS Motor launches synthetic engine oil TRU4

Two and three wheeler maker TVS Motor has launched fully synthetic engine oil TRU4 Synthetic 10W 30 for automobiles, which it said meets global standards.
TVS TRU4 meets Japanese automotive standards organisation and American Petroleum Institute. It allows smooth clutch operation, low temperature startability and longer service life, a company statement said.
"Synthetic oil flows better in cold weather, making engine starts easier and offering better protection. Synthetic oil is slicker than conventional oil and enables smoother, cooler engine operation resulting in better power and fuel economy", TVS Motor Company, Parts Business-Vice President, K Venkateswarlu said.
The product is available in one litre and priced at Rs 525. Customers can check the genuineness of the oil by sending a Short Messaging Service, it said.

Asian Granito Sept-qtr Net up by 37 per cent at Rs 3.95 crore * Ahmedabad-based ceramic tiles maker Asian Granito reported a 37.15 per cent increase today, in its net profit at Rs 3.95 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2.88 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Net sales of the company rose 14.45 per cent to Rs 214.88 crore during the first quarter compared to Rs 187.75 crore in the same period a year ago, the company said in a statement.

"The growth is on account of buoyancy and strong performance across all business verticals. In spite of a slowdown in the Indian tiles industry, we have grown due to continuous innovations in products and aggressive marketing across the country," Asian Granito Chairman and Managing Director Kamlesh Patel said.
