The scrip settled 7.81 per cent higher at Rs 293.20 on the BSE. During the day, it jumped 9.2 per cent to Rs 297.
At the NSE, it zoomed 7.46 per cent to end at Rs 292.30.
On the volume front, 11.60 lakh shares of the company changed hands at the BSE and over 76 lakh shares were traded at the NSE during the day.
TVS Motor Company had yesterday reported 15.14 per cent increase in total sales at 2,04,565 units in February.
Total two-wheeler sales for the month grew by 14.8 per cent to 1,95,509 units as against 1,70,293 units in February 2014, TVS Motor Company had said in a statement yesterday.
