Two arrested, 27 gm of heroin seized in Mizoram

Two persons were arrested after 27 gram of heroin worth Rs one lakh was seized from their possession by Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department.
The duo, both residents of Aizawl, were booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, officials said.
The narcotic substance was allegedly being smuggled from Myanmar and an investigation has been initiated, they said.
