Two arrested for allegedly teasing a female television artiste

Two local businessmen were arrested for allegedly eve-teasing a female Telugu television artiste and following her car here, a police official said today.
Imran Bin Mohammed and Syed Norulla Hussaini allegedly followed her on a bike, obstructed her way as well as kept peeping into her car while making gestures at her, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes and SIT) Swathi Lakra said.
The female TV artiste posted their photographs on the police "she team" Facebook page, she said.
Roving police "she teams" which watch eve-teasers, arrested the accused yesterday using photographs and bike details. "A petty case was booked against the duo, who were let off later," Swathi Lakra said.

In a separate case, a student named Pradeep Kumar, who allegedly harassed a female student by ringing her up during odd hours and threatening to put her photographs as well as video clips on the internet, if she doesn't accept his proposal has been arrested, a police official said.
