The accused have been identified as Vishal alias Gagandip Singh, a resident of Fatehgarh Churian and his friend Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Bholeke village, SSP Batala Inderbir Singh said.
Gurpreet was arrested for giving shelter to Vishal after the attack, he said, adding, another accused Harwinder Singh was absconding and hunt was on to nab him.
Vishal and Harwinder had allegedly attacked Harmeet Singh, Sarbjot Singh, Dilsher Singh and Sardul Singh with sharp-edged weapons when they were having meal at a dhaba on the night of April 30, the senior police official said.
