Two youths today came from Birbhum district, one from the Panrui area and another from Bolpur, and produced documents in favour of a girl student at the state secretariat Nabanna to avail the scholarship, the police said.
"The documents they produced turned out to be fake and after primary interrogation, both were arrested," an officer of Shibpur police station said.
Further investigation into the incident was on, the officer added.
