Tension prevailed in the Bhikki village under Sikreda police station area yesterday after the wall of a religious structure was razed down, Circle Officer Karambir Singh said.
Ajay Lal Singh and his son Jaipal have been arrested following the incident, he said, adding that the situation is now under control.
The wall was allegedly torn down to make a clear passage, police said, adding that the wall has been rebuilt.
The security has been tightened in the village.
