Two arrested in bribery cases

Two persons, including a computer operator, were today arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in separate alleged bribery cases here.
Mukan Prasad Joshi, posted with Home Guards office in Jodhpur, had demanded the bribe from one Punaram to attach a caste certificate of his niece who was selected in the home guards department.
During the investigation he was caught while accepting the bribe of Rs 5,000, IG, ACB, V K Singh said.
In another incident in Jaisalmer district, a fourth grade employee of tehsil office Jitendra Charan, was arrested for taking a bribe of Rs 2000 from one Bhom Singh Rajput in lieu of some official work, he said.
