Two bookies arrested

Two bookies were arrested here for allegedly betting on IPL matches, a senior police official said here today.
Amit Kumar and Sandip Sharma were arrested from Band Bazar area yesterday when they were betting on IPL matches using laptops and mobile phones, SSP Keval Khurana said.
Rs 2,09,210 cash, one laptop, two calculators and eight mobile phones were recovered from their possession, he said.
A case has been registered against the duo under the Gambling Act.
