The two minor boys allegedly enticed the girl to one of their homes in Hans Nagar Colony here and attempted to rape her yesterday, they said.
When the girl raised an alarm, some neighbours came over to the place and overpowered the boys following which the duo were handed over to Sector-3 Police Chowki here.
On the basis of a complaint filed by the victim's mother, a case of abduction and cases under the provision of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) have been registered against the accused, police said.
