Two car lifters nabbed in Guwahati

Police said the two were apprehended from Paltan Bazaar locality when they were trying to flee the city with a stolen SUV.

The two are Akbar Ali Khan, a jawan in the Manipur Rifles, and his accomplice Habibur Rahman.

Police suspect them to be involved with some inter-state gang of car lifters.
