Two carjackers held

Two criminals, allegedly involved in car jacking incidents on national highways, were arrested in Rajasthan's Bharatpur district, police said here today.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Alwar and Bharatpur police raided Pahadi area last night. On seeing police, the duo, identified as Nasru and Tahir, opened fire at them and made an attempt to escape. However, the police team managed to caught them, Alwar SP Umesh Chand Dutta said.
An illegal firearm, three live cartridges and a stolen car were recovered from their possession, he said.
