Two children drowned in a swimming pool in railway's DRM complex here, the police said today.
Deepanshu (13) and Sumit (12) had gone to the swimming pool along with their three friends yesterday afternoon. As soon as they jumped into the poll, Deepanshu and Sumit drowned while the other three swam to safety, they said.
After getting information about the incident, divers were deployed and one of the bodies were fished out. The other body could be recovered in the midnight only after the water of the pool was pumped out, the police said.
