Two children drown in water tank

Two girls accidentally slipped in a water tank while playing and drowned near here today, police said.
The incident took place at Annammaghati on the city's outskirts when Tarani (5) and M Mythri (3) were playing. Their parents were here in connection with a marriage function and were busy receiving guests when the mishap took place.
The two, who hailed from different localities, suddenly slipped in a nearby water tank and drowned, One Town Station House Officer A S Rao said.
