The two convicts surrendered before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Narender Kumar yesterday and were later sent to jail for serving their term here.
According to the prosecution, a local court had convicted Faizul and Mujassim and sentenced them to life imprisonment in a murder case here in 1993.
The accused filed appeal an appeal in High Court last month and were released on bail till the decision of the appeal.
The High Court dismissed the appeal of the two convicts in May and directed them to surrender in a court here.
