Two crude bombs found from bus

On the eve of the Independence Day, two crude bombs were recovered from a private bus near here in Darjeeling district, the police said.
The police found the bombs hidden in a sack of potato during a routine check in view of the Independence Day tomorrow and detained one passenger, the police said.
The passengers and their belongings were also searched for around two hours but nothing more was found.
The bus travelling from Coochbehar to Siliguri, along with the passengers, were later allowed to proceed to their destination, the police said.
