Two drown as boat capsizes in river

A woman and a minor girl got drowned today after a boat carrying about 12 people capsized in Ghausi river under Bisfi police station in Bihar's Madhubani district, a police officer said.
Superintendent of Police M Rahman said a 40-year-old woman Meena Devi and Nitu Kumari (9), both natives of Ghat village, got drowned and their bodies were fished out later.
The remaining occupants of the boat swam to safety, he said.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem.
