The deceased, identified as Sahadevan (68) and Rajeevan (48), along with five others went for fishing last evening and the mishap occurred late last night when the boat hit a sand dune and capsized.
The bodies were recovered this morning and sent for post-mortem at Koilandy Taluk hospital, they said.
Five others were rescued by their counterparts fishing in the area, they said.
