Two foreign made pistols recovered from militant

Security forces recovered two foreign made pistols from the possession of a militant, a press release issued by the police department said today evening.
The arms were recovered by security forces comprising state police commandos and army personnel from one 'self-styled sergeant' Khangembam Sanjoy Singh (22), a militant of the banned outfit United Revolutionary Front (URF), the press statement said.
The militant was arrested and the arms recovered during a frisking operation at Moirang Oksongbung in Bishenpur district on July 5, informed the statement.
The two 9 mm pistols were marked "made in Italy" and "made in Czech Republic".
The Police registered a case and investigation is on.
