Two persons, including a Tamil Nadu state transport bus driver,were killed and two injured when it veered off a road,hit the parapet wall of a culvert bridge and overturned at Pathaklava, 10 km from here today, police said.
Police suspect the driver might have fallen asleep and lost control of the bus, leadin to the mishap at around 5 AM today.
The deceased hailed from Tamil Nadu, police said.
The injured persons have been hospitalised.
The bus, with 20 passengers, was on its way from Salem to Tirupati, police said.
